SMS Opt-In Disclosure

How customers consent to receive text messages from Valet 102, and what they receive.

Valet 102 ("Valet102") sends transactional SMS messages only to customers of valet parking operators that use the Valet102 platform: vehicle status notifications (drop-off confirmation, retrieval in progress, ready for pickup), payment links and receipts, and account authentication codes for platform users. We do not send marketing or promotional messages, and we never share mobile numbers with third parties for marketing purposes.

How customers opt in

Consent is collected in person at the valet stand, in one of two ways:

  • Attendant-assisted: the customer provides their mobile number verbally to the valet attendant at vehicle drop-off. The attendant enters it into the Valet102 app, reads the consent disclosure to the customer, and records the customer's verbal agreement before notifications are enabled.
  • Self-service tablet/kiosk: the customer types their own number into a tablet at the valet stand and must tap a consent checkbox — presented unchecked — next to the disclosure shown below before the number can be saved.

Customers do not text a keyword to join. Providing a phone number is optional and is not a condition of using the valet service.

After opting in, the customer receives a single confirmation message:

Program details

  • Message frequency: varies with use of the valet service — typically 1–3 messages per valet transaction.
  • Cost: message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier and plan.
  • Opt out: reply STOP to any message. You will receive one final confirmation and no further messages.
  • Help: reply HELP to any message, or email hello@valet102.com.
  • Privacy: phone numbers and opt-in data are used only to deliver these messages. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
